The last thing you ever want to see
is the heart stopping (Boot Device Failure) or (No Boot Device Found)
This is usually a failed Hard
Drive. While a failed Hard Drive can be catastrophic, many times the
data can be recovered. The most important thing to remember if you get
an error about a Boot Device failure is "DO NOT KEEP RESTARTING THE
COMPUTER". Call
us (201) 952 3703 immediately and let us diagnose the problem
using non invasive procedures.
If our attempts fail we will offer
to have the drive sent out for an invasive recovery where the drive is
disassembled in a clean room and the data plates are installed in a
similar working drive to extract the data. Most invasive data recovery
companies will perform the work and report that they can or can't extract the
data. At that point you will have to commit to pay for any data that can
be recovered ($600-$1000) the company will then extract the data and
send you a list of the files that can be extracted.
Now, doesn't the word
BACKUP
seem like something you should consider?
